What is FineReader Engine
FineReader Engine offers a very broad set of technologies such as:
- Recognition SDK to integrate state-of-the-art document recognition
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR),
- Optical Mark Recognition (OMR),
- Optical Barcode Recognition (OBR),
- PDF conversion.
ABBYY FineReader Engine SDKs used and integrated by
- Software Developers / ISVs to add OCR and paper document conversion to their custom applications
- Scan Service Providers (BPO) to add ABBYY OCR in their processing systems so they can provide best conversion results for their users and customers.
